9 months ago, WarwickDesign was contacted by the Learning Skills and Improvement Service (LSIS), to help produce their varied online publications. As the months have passed the working relationship has grown stronger and together we have continued to publish numerous online documents from Governance eNewsletters to online magazines.
You can see many of the examples of our work here. LSIS are committed to accelerate quality improvement, increase participation and raise standards and achievement in the learning and skills sector in England.

WarwickDesign is delighted to announce that we have been working closely with Coombe Abbey Hotel to refresh their Special Events brochures for 2011-12. We followed a tight brief designed to revitalise the look and feel of the brochure whilst keeping the brand very much in-line with their existing guidelines.
It is always a challenge to keep within a strict look and feel of an established brand and yet allow creativity and a fresh approach to the new material. WarwickDesign has developed the branding for Reading-based research organisation Empirical Research. The company specialises in science-based research for a wide client base across the public and private sectors.
The brief was to create an identity flexible enough to convey the detailed nature of the work undertaken by Empirical Research, yet able to provide a friendly and accessible image for the company. WarwickDesign has also provided set of web concepts accompanying the brand development to ensure consistency as Empirical Research's website is implemented.

Following a successful presentation, WarwickDesign secured the brand creation and development for The Advantage Proof of Concept Grant Fund. Recognising the importance of innovation in driving economic growth for the West Midlands, Advantage West Midlands created the Advantage Proof of Concept Grant Fund to accelerate new technologies, products and business ideas towards commercialisation.
The Fund provides grants on a competitive basis of up to £30k representing up to 75% of total project costs to support external spend on pre-commercialisation proof of concept activities.
Our creative team had a brainstorming session and created an initial 18 possible logotypes which were whittled down to a condensed set of visuals for presentation. The winning design was a simple type-only logo with a clean green accent colour. The design allows flexibility across different media which accommodates the marketing collateral required by the Fund.
